Este recorrido en particular solía ser una actividad personal entre mi hermano y yo. Queríamos explorar el área de nuestra ciudad natal usando un equipo acuático más ecológico y optamos por comprar tablas de remo. Nos dimos cuenta de que había otras personas en la isla interesadas en experimentar el agua de esta manera, lo que nos dio la idea de expandirnos a un negocio de deportes acuáticos.

Lo que más me gusta de esta actividad de stand up paddle es que no solo era una actividad de ejercicio ligero en el agua, sino que también tenía el elemento de recorrer la isla cubriendo varios lugares escénicos como el río manglar y la formación de piedra caliza de 500 millones de años. . Esta actividad es una de las mejores maneras de trabajar por una experiencia para ver la belleza de Tanjung Rhu Langkawi, y es operada por guías locales experimentados y apasionados que conocen el área.

Marvellous SUP trip

It’s A Great experience. I booked 2 trips with h2ocean (IG) 3days before arrival - snorkel/ paddle 10am and sunset paddle 4pm for the same day. Responses from Ms Renee Sayra Basri was fast even at 11+pm via WhatsApp. Overseas travellers doesn’t require deposit. Pick up at Tanjung Rhu mangrove jetty, if you r staying at Tanjung Rhu resort- walk to water sport centre and another 8mins through the local stalls bring you to the main jetty- go to the smaller one beside it. From the jetty a super short boat trip brings you to the floating station which also house the restaurant for your meal. I had noodles for lunch and they offered me rice for dinner, basic drinks are in the package which allow top up. I ordered take away chilli flower crab and the herbs/ spice is so tasteful. The young companions commended that this was the best yellow noodles they had in Langkawi. On the floating station, life vests/ paddle/ board are collected. Depending on the package, basic techniques are taught on the station or island before launching. I’m a seasoned SUPer, in both trips i was with first timers. Both guides were patient and attentive- all of them build confidence to stand and paddle, even receiving call on board. My compliments also goes to guide Shahrul with influencing cheerfulness.
